⭐ Hoshī/ほしい/星
In Japanese Hoshii/ほしい means “to want/desire”, while Hoshi/星 means “star”. Our name Hoshī encapsulates our ultimate wish (star) of building an AI Teammate that the industry really wants/needs
🎯 Mission
The wholesale industry is facing a labour shortage, while 10.6 million people in the same industry are stuck doing repetitive work (5% of total EU workforce).
At Hoshī, we are building an AI Teammate to handle repetitive activities such as processing unstructured data, respond to customer questions, and entering data autonomously into ERP systems. Adam, our AI Teammate, works relentlessly to process orders and supplier notes, freeing up your team’s abilities to focus on more important work.

We are Chihiro , Ayoub and Jiir. (left to right)
Chihiro (Lead AI) has a best in class master’s degree in mathematics from ETH Zurich with a focus on machine learning. He led AI projects for international companies and has previously developed advanced neural networks for the insurance industry.
Ayoub (CTO) has a double master’s degrees in CS from the Technical University of Denmark and Aalto University, specializing in cloud computing and cybersecurity. He worked for CERN, Huawei, EPFL, Niantic, and Taurus, having scale up experience.
Jiir (CEO) holds a master’s in business innovation from the University of St. Gallen, specializing in AI, worked for Roche, Baloise and Swisscom. He brings experience in workflow optimization by implementing AI.
